Improve friction resistance (compound layer plays a role)

The compound layer formed on the steel surface has high hardness and dense non-metallic tissue, thus improving the friction resistance. 

 

Improve fatigue resistance strength (Compressive stress plays a role in the diffusion layer)

The smooth diffusion layer is formed under the compound layer, which can improve the fatigue resistance strength of the cutting material and welding part.

 

Increase bending strength

Compared with the bending strength of the untreated product, that of the isonite treatment is increased by about 2 to 3 times.

 

Improve heat resistance

It does not soften in the temperature range of 300℃ to 600℃.

It maintains friction resistance as well.

 

Improve corrosion resistance

The compound layer generated by the isonite treatment is a non-metallic tissue, and can have the same corrosion resistance as the zinc plating and the chromium plating.
